Applications open for Dublin Rose Festival

One of Ireland’s longest running festivals continues to go from strength to strength, with 2017 marking fifty eight years since since The Rose of Tralee Festival began in Tralee, Co Kerry.

The first lady chosen as the winner of the festival in 1958 was Dublin Representative Alice O’Sullivan, and every year hence, the capital city and county has been represented at the festival.

There wasn’t any Social Media back in 1958, but if there was, it would be alive with news that applications are currently open for Rose of Tralee Festival┬áregional events all over the world, including those for Dublin.
