The International Digital Services Centre (IDSC) helped enterprises grow their business internationally through Digital Transformation.
Digital Transformation was enabled through a process-driven range of services that helped data-intensive enterprises get to their customers seamlessly and efficiently and impact their bottom line positively.
The IDSC aimed to offer Digital Services to large organisations on a grand, international scale. It’s goals were to replicate the success of the Dublin based International Financial Services Centre (IFSC), in the Digital Marketplace. Consequently, the service offerings were expansive.

Deloitte Digital Value Chain Conference
One of the largest initiatives undertaken by the IDSC was running the “Digital Value Chain” conference in partnership with Deloitte Digital UK.
Hosted in the historic Smock Alley Theater in Dublin City, the conference was described as follows:
Over the last few years, much focus has rightly been given to strategies that exploit the digital opportunity. The back office needed time to catch up and more importantly to add value and provide the platform on which to conduct digital business. If you want to hear from peers and share experiences in all of the elements of a well-rounded digital strategy then see value in the value chain, attend the Digital Back Office Conference.
The aims of the conference were:
- To introduce the audience to the latest challenges and opportunities across the entire digital value chain;
- To provide a networking opportunity for industry decision makers large and small, and from different stages of the digital supply chain; and
- To share ideas among the group necessary to contribute to a well-rounded digital strategy covering the entire value chain.
John had the opportunity of working with the event team who planned, set-up and operated the conference.
A live social media feed on the day of the conference was also provided by John.
